From idea to ink, this camp will take your student from the beginning of their writing journey all the way to a physical published product.
Enjoy five weeks of scheduled online sessions with real-life tutors aimed at inspiring young creative visions, including expert guidance on how authorship works from beginning to end.
Campers will spur their imaginations at Brainstorm Beach, populate their stories at Character Cavern, overcome the challenges of Plot Mountain, take a peek at Perspective Point, and saddle up at the Writing Ranch before seeing their work come to life at Publishing Park.
At the conclusion of the camp, all students will be rewarded with their own treasure: a physical, printed collection (mailed to their home address) of the stories they made during the class.

Throughout the week, students will engage in exciting games and exercises to transform an existing story into their own imaginative creation.

Ever wonder how movies make us laugh, make us care, and give us characters that feel like a best friend?
This camp will explore how filmmakers use storytelling tricks to bring their tales to life.
Using five classic movies for young audiences, including Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone, Frozen, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Toy Story, budding writers will sort their way through the basic building blocks of magnificent storytelling.
In the end, students will be able to use the knowledge they gain in their own writing, and discover how to identify these master techniques in the films they watch.
If your kids are dedicated fans of the big screen, they’ll be eager to call “Action!” on Lights! Camera! Writing!

Q: Can I enroll more than 1 attendee?
A: Yes, you can enroll multiple kids within the same family, or gift a session to a friend. Details will be collected at checkout.
Q: What ages are the camps appropriate for?
A: Our camps are designed for ages 7 and up. With the wide variety of ages possible for each camp, we will do our best to place campers in similar age groups in the same session.
Q: Who are the teachers?
A: Our coaches, Daniel and Beth, are high-energy, qualified instructors who love engaging with children and pushing them to explore the furthest reaches of their imagination.
Q: What if I miss a class?
A: All the live sessions will be recorded, allowing for on-demand replay so catching up is easy!
Q: What do the students receive upon completion of the course?
A: All campers will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Destination: Imagination students will receive a printed book with stories from the entire class.
Q: If I pick the “two payment” option at checkout, when is the second payment processed?
A: The second payment is due 30 days after the original payment.
